Text
As I set out in the debate, the consultation has been completed, the responses have been analysed and I am carefully considering the advice from officials. I seek that people respect the fact that it is a complex area, and I need to take advice from officials on the way forward, particularly on exemptions. The context in which the amendment was tabled was to provide the capacity to carefully consider the issue. I have some concerns about the exemptions that are set out in the wording of the motion. That is the context, and that is where I was coming from.
