I thank the Member for the information in her winding-up speech. The proposer of the motion said earlier that education was key to owning dogs and that people should not own dogs unless they are educated to do so. Will the Member agree with me that animal welfare is a wide-ranging topic, and that therefore people who leave dogs in their cars while they are at work would be frowned upon?
