I appreciate the Member's giving away. She is always generous. The Member has proposed her amendment, but I still struggle to understand why on the earth the Irish Government would have any role in a strand one issue. Is it now the position of the Alliance Party that the Republic of Ireland, as a foreign jurisdiction, should have a say on internal affairs in Northern Ireland? In my view, that is what the amendment that you are proposing states.
