Text
Absolutely. You cannot put a price on the lives that have been lost and the impact that that has had on so many people. I understand that cost is important in any major project. However, the new road will bring road safety benefits for the whole north-west area and will save lives. If it saves one life, for me, that is the most important thing. Therefore, let us focus on what this is really about. It is about improving road safety and ensuring that no more families get that earth-shattering knock on the door, and it is about improving the economy and the connectivity for people right along that corridor and right across our island.
