Text
I, too, want to share my sympathies with all the families who have lost loved ones on the A5 and other roads. The loss of life on our roads is all too frequent. Minister, you mentioned that the judgement provides certainty for the A5 and other major projects across Northern Ireland. The A1 goes through my constituency. It is another very dangerous road that has been due vital safety upgrades for over 16 years. It was further delayed unnecessarily by this court case and your Department's moratorium. My constituents will be keen to hear what today's judgement means for the A1's safety upgrades. Can you give assurances that that project will now resume without delay?
