Text
I thank my East Antrim colleague for giving way. He will know that I chair the all-party group (APG) on cancer, so my comment to him is made on a cross-party basis. It concerns cancer waiting times. Over the past 10 years, the 62-day target for seeing cancer patients has dropped from 95% to 29·5%. The 31-day treatment target has dropped from 98% to 88%, while the 14-day breast cancer appointment target has dropped from 90% to a shocking 5·5%. Does he agree that cancer services in Northern Ireland are in crisis today?
