Text
I am aware of the situation and thank Mr Stewart for raising it with me. Ms Brownlee has also raised it directly and personally with me on a number of occasions. In addition, I met some of the teachers from the school, who raised it directly with me. The Education Authority has engaged with the school. I know that the current arrangements are far from satisfactory. The Education Authority looked at alternative provision that the school suggested to it, but that was deemed not to be the most suitable. I am very much alert to the issues. We continue to engage with the EA, because it needs to put in place the appropriate provision to address the issues.
