Text
I commend Mr Martin for the way in which he has raised public awareness and campaigned on the issue. I was pleased to meet parents and representatives from the National Allergy Strategy Group at the launch of its allergy strategy in Parliament Buildings in June. We had an opportunity to hear about the experiences of children and young people with allergies in our schools, and I spoke with a number of the parents and young people who attended on that occasion. Officials have also met the Benedict Blythe Foundation and Food Allergy NI to discuss their concerns. I am more than happy to continue with that engagement and meet Mr Martin and the constituents whom he has been representing on the issue.
