It is funny that the Member seems not to have taken on board the number of occasions on which it has been explained why there has been a delay with the aviation policy or the details of the work that my Department was required to do last year because of decisions taken by the British Government. He is also aware that we intend to publish the aviation policy later this autumn. Key components of the policy include things such as a new air route development scheme, but, obviously, those depend on securing a satisfactory Budget settlement. I encourage the Member, along with his party, to continue to play a part in the efforts that we are making collectively for a better Budget settlement.
