Text

You absolutely defied the law. It is bad enough that Sinn Féin is dancing to the beat of the dissident drum, but it is absolutely shocking that the SDLP is doing so too. The Member should take the opportunity to call out those who broke the law. They do not have to agree with the outcome of the court, but the rule of law must be upheld. That is what we all signed up to, and one party in the Chamber has been deeply reckless about it. The Member needs to stand up, be heard and call out those who defied the law, not those on these sides of the Benches who want to uphold the law.
