Text
The Member is raising her voice. There is no need to raise your voice; this is a very good debate. It is not about "changing"; it is "changing or suppressing". When you look at the definition of "conversion therapy", you see that, if a 14-year-old girl goes to a parent and says, "I think I'm a boy", and that parent says, "I think you should think about that for a couple of years", that is suppression in the eyes of the Bill. That parent would be liable. You would be prosecuting parents.
