Text
I can provide the Member with some information. I have received preliminary figures from the Housing Executive, but I hope that during — I accept that the Bill will pass Second Stage tonight — the Committee Stage, the Committee will bring the Housing Executive in so that it can give that information. There has been a bit of confusion tonight about what the Housing Executive's responsibilities are. Some seem to have completely dismissed the idea that there could be any more temporary accommodation costs. The Bill sponsor said that there will be additional costs, and the Housing Executive has said that as well. I encourage the Member to get that information, including the potential savings as well, if those materialise. We will get savings if we follow my approach, which I will talk about later.
