Text
The Member seems to have a problem with the fact that we are not opposing any of the amendments, but the clarity that I was giving him on our position is clarity that was sought by his colleague in front of him when she questioned the Chair. I was giving the position that Members on the Sinn Féin Benches were asking about. They were asking whether we were against the Bill in principle, and, in that instance, I was outlining why we opposed the Bill. You seem to be complaining now that we are not opposing the amendments. I made it clear that we are not going to divide the House on the amendments. That is our position on the amendments.
