Text
I thank the Member for giving way and the previous Infrastructure Chair for pointing out that the EFM states that the cost attributable will be "modest". Woodland Trust polling showed that 75% of respondees are supportive, regardless of the cost. The principle of the Bill establishes the increased protections that the public want to see. You need to crack a few eggs to make an omelette. Furthermore, the officers want to be enabled to do more. The will is there to find the resource that would be required.
