Text
On a point of order, Mr Speaker. Some are trying to use the House, so it was important that you clarified that the First Minister is off doing other urgent business. She is not afraid of any of you — let me make that fact clear.
She showed that at last week's Question Time. While some try to use the House to inflame the situation, Michelle O'Neill is trying to de-escalate it.
That will become apparent. She will come to the House, and she will eyeball each and every one of you
in the time ahead. She will do that in a respectful way. She is not afraid of anyone. She is there to de-escalate the situation, and others need to do the same.
