Text

The Member touches on a very important point. I have a concern about the word "vicinity" as well, because that is not defined in the legislation. I struggle with this, and I wonder whether it is just an outright ban on flags, because, when you look at clause 2, you see that there are very few places where you can fly a flag that are not sensitive.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • Assessed as legitimate policy scrutiny (0.83).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (0.90).
  • Subject area: Flags, emblems, symbols, names and memorials.
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.
