Text
Fundamental system reviews of grant funding and the design standards for new-build social housing are ongoing. They offer an opportunity to look at the social housing development programme afresh and identify opportunities to be innovative and creative. We need to do more with less, collectively working to address the barriers to finance and social housing supply. I recently met DFC and Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) officials who updated me on the progress of the two reviews. Both are on track to be completed by the end of October this year.
