Text
I thank the Minister for his answer. The Minister will hopefully be aware that more than £27 million was recorded in the "write off/write on" category last year alone, which is an increase of more than 50% on the previous year. At a time when our Executive are under significant financial pressures, does the Minister accept that those levels of write-offs are simply unsustainable? Will the figure keep rising year on year? Does he have a plan to fix it? Most importantly, is he content with those levels of unpaid rates?
