Text

I am mindful of the sensitivities today, because a family has been mourning the loss of a son and brother, an individual — Robert Hamill — who lost his life in the most brutal and appalling fashion. For that, I remember them today, as I do the many victims across Northern Ireland whose families have empty seats in their homes. We have to be clear. The report deals categorically with the claim of collusion. That slur has been placed on good, honourable RUC officers for the past 30 years. The report is clear: it did not happen.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.51 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (0.60).
  • Subject area: Sectarianism, hate crime and community relations.
  • The overall probability was moderate at most and none of the culture-war criteria was close to being met.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
