Text
Be careful what you wish for with Invest NI land. In parts of Downpatrick, we have the land, but we cannot get Invest NI to bring anyone in to put something there. The problem is that there is almost a subregional imbalance that goes down to the new council areas. Often, people see that a lot of the investment is on one side of what was a new council area, rather than across the whole ambit of a new council. We need to look outside of the Belfast area but also make sure that the investment is smoothed out and that there is equal access for people across the region.
