Text
I thank the Member for taking an intervention. Success in mid-Ulster has been in spite of central government, not because its assistance. That is why I had to say repeatedly to Diane Dodds, when she was Minister, that it felt like Groundhog Day because I was repeatedly asking for support for those engineering businesses and apprenticeships and that work. Thankfully, the current Minister worked with the groups that did all that work, brought them together, used that as an example of best practice and rolled it out to other areas. That is a positive, and we need to see more of that. Industry and the colleges need to be very much part of it, but the Minister does need to take the lead, and, thankfully, she has done so.
