Text
I welcome that. As the Member rightly says, she has looked at local government districts in clause 7, but she also has "relevant data catchments", which is important. I was, however, simply responding to the Member who spoke previously. It is important to recognise, while not taking away from the merits of the Bill, that every country and region has an economic powerhouse that is based somewhere. In the Republic of Ireland, Dublin is the economic powerhouse, and we could make comparisons between Dublin and more rural parts of the Republic of Ireland. We could do the same with England. London is the economic powerhouse of the United Kingdom, and there are other parts that are not. We will never get to the stage where economies are equal across a country; that simply does not happen, and I think that the Member recognises that. I am happy to give way.
