Text
I thank the Member for taking an intervention. I very much identify with much of what he has said. I recall saying to the former Economy Minister Diane Dodds that it felt like Groundhog Day because every time that I spoke about Mid Ulster, I talked about its having the highest number of VAT-rated businesses outside Belfast, yet it had no investment, no focus and no lands owned by Invest NI. It was the only part of the North that had no lands owned by Invest NI. All of that has begun to change, even in the focus on the engineering industry in Mid Ulster. It took a Sinn Féin Minister and a change in that Department to focus on that regional imbalance.
