Text

First, that was a slightly better quip than normal.

The Member is improving. I said "slightly". Well done to him. I wonder how long it took him to think that up. I say this very clearly: the arts policy is following the timelines and timescales that were originally set out. We have completed the framework. The first policies are out for consultation, and some of those consultations have closed. The arts policy is coming soon. I have committed to doing that. I will do everything that I can to make sure that it is in place as soon as possible. I always say that I do what I can when I can with what I have. I want to see the policy finalised as soon as possible. I want to make sure that we have the funding in place and that it goes to the right areas: those that will make the most difference and have maximum impact.

Assessment

Not qualifying

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not qualifying”.

  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-qualifying threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
