Text
It is easy to go down the dark tunnel to nowhere. However, over the last year or two, we have seen the public-sector transformation board established with £235 million; public sector pay given £688 million; and a Budget sustainability plan achieved with savings of £113 million. Also, there is a fiscal framework, as you have said, with a 24+% need factor that, in total, when you look at the work that has been done, brought in £1·3 billion of additional funding. Unlike others who have no plan, no extra money and no hope, by working together, we can hope for additional funding from the British Government over the next period.
