Text
Deputy First Minister, I welcome some of the warm words that you have said today, but in all the engagements that I have had with ethnic minority and newcomer communities since the appalling racist riots of June, I have heard that they feel let down by the response of the First Minister and the deputy First Minister, and by the Executive more broadly, to the appalling riots. You indicated or suggested earlier this year that some of the integration funding had been held up by the absence of a Budget. Will you offer clarity, here and now, to those communities that the absence of a Budget — the refusal of the Executive to set a Budget — has had no impact on funding allocations to overcome community integration issues?
