Text
It is clear to me that the transformation fund is having a positive impact on the delivery of public services here. In March 2025, I announced the first tranche of projects that will be supported under the fund. While it is relatively early days in the implementation of the projects, they are already starting to have an impact. For example, in the health service, the provision of transformation funding has enabled more than 350,000 additional consultations to be delivered to patients in multidisciplinary teams in GP practices.
It has enabled more people to get the treatment that they need quickly and reduced the pressure on hospitals.
