Text

The consultation on my Department's draft road maintenance strategy ran from 2 December 2025 to 30 January this year. First, I thank all of those who engaged with the consultation and provided feedback, which has been very positive and constructive. Officials are in the process of finalising the consultation report and the road maintenance strategy, taking into account the consultation feedback and the Committee comments. I will publish both the final road maintenance strategy and the consultation report shortly. Once those are published, my Department will be in a stronger position to progress a modern, data-driven approach to road maintenance across the North.

  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
