Text
On a point of order, Mr Deputy Speaker. The Member will be aware that there is an obligation on Members to correct the record when they speak in error. He has just said that the amendments to the Bill are 10 times the amount of the original Bill. That is factually incorrect. You can flick your papers all you want, but it does not change the fact that they are not 10 times the amount. In fairness, it also does not reflect the fact that his colleague brought quite a few of the amendments.
