Text
Our international healthcare staff are needed and valued, but they are worried and fearful for their safety and that of their families, including their children. School principals have told us that some children from ethnic minority backgrounds have stayed away from school over the past week owing to fears about travelling and being out in the community. Beyond making statements of support, what practical action in terms of workplace support is the Minister taking to ensure that international healthcare workers feel that their concerns are being heard and that they can safely continue to work in Northern Ireland?
