Text
Thank you, Minister. The Audit Office recently reported that social housing tenancy fraud costs the public purse at least £8 million. As elected representatives, we know that the true cost is our families on waiting lists for houses. In its 2014 report, there was a recommendation from the Public Accounts Committee to bring forward an evidence-based baseline estimate for the true scale of tenancy fraud in social housing. Is that an additional element to what you just said you will bring forward at the end of the month?
