Text

The Bill was passed unanimously in the House at Final Stage, and the DUP put it in its manifesto and was trumpeting the legislation. It has now changed its tune. The shame that the Member should feel is because his party collapsed the institutions for two years and did not allow us to progress legislation and make the important interventions that we are seeking to make. If his party wants to see progress made, agree the first climate action plan, which I will be bringing to the Executive in the short time ahead.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
