Minister, one farmer of many whom I met at the weekend told me that he has spent over £20,000 on a planning application on which no decision has yet been made. Has the Department carried out any assessment of the financial impact of the delays in responses on the farming community, some of whom are trying to get approval for essential projects, such as slurry storage or new or improved livestock housing?
