Text

I thank the Member for giving way. Does the Member share my concern that the Minister, based on his intervention, would support extending the ban to social workers, who support children and old people who are at risk? Going by the logic of his intervention, he is against those workers taking strike action as well. The Bill seems to be a dangerous, slippery slope, whereby the Education Minister is saying who can strike and when and where they can strike. Does the Member share that concern held by me and others?
