Text
I thank the junior Minister for giving way. Does she acknowledge the despair and harm that were caused when members of the consultative forum were first presented with the Bill and that date of 29 September 2011? You have had months to go back to that consultative forum and present an alternative date, which could even be 1995. Why have you not taken that opportunity? We would not be in the position that we are in today, with people experiencing pain and suffering because that amendment was not selected. Why did you not take the opportunity to go back to the forum to which you provide secretariat support?
