Thank you, Mr Deputy Speaker. I rise to wind up on the amendment tabled by me and Alliance Party colleagues. I thank the Sinn Féin Members for proposing the motion and the DUP Members for their amendment. We are content to support all three. Our amendment introduces a single change to the motion. In addition to the…
I thank the Minister for his statement. It is very concerning to hear that stress and distress was reported by all staff groups who participated in the review, especially midwives. We heard from Diane Forsythe about specific issues in the Southern Trust. If the psychological safety of all staff is a critical priority…
I thank the Ulster Unionist Members for tabling the motion. As outlined by my party colleagues from Strangford, we will support the motion. It is vital that we improve support for deaf children in our education system. The key to doing that is to train and recruit more specialist teachers of the deaf. The motion calls…
Thanks to the Minister for that answer. As the Minister is not aware of the area, I would be pleased if he were to commit to a visit to see it. There is a specific issue in that area, and a solution to alleviate the congestion could become apparent, and that would be great for people in the area.
The Minister mentioned issues with structural maintenance across the road network. I ask the Minister for a bit more detail on what his proposals are for ensuring that the roads are of a quality that is safe for all users, specifically cyclists.
Mr Donnelly asked the Minister for Infrastructure to outline what he is doing to improve the flow of traffic in the Larne West area, particularly at Donaghy's Lane and the Ballyhampton Road, where there is daily congestion and ongoing development of hundreds of houses.
To ask the Minister of Health to detail the data available on the (i) demographic; and (ii) surgery type of patients being treated in elective orthopaedic hubs in the last five years.
To ask the Minister of Health whether he will consider introducing a single referral to treatment measure to track the patient journey, similar to the system in England and Wales.

Statutory Duty of Candour That this Assembly agrees on the need for statutory and legally enforceable organisational and individual duties of candour in Northern Ireland’s Health and Social Care system; believes that, while the overwhelming majority of staff are committed to the highest standards of care, a statutory…
I thank Mrs Dodds for securing this very important Adjournment debate. I am here in place of my colleague Eóin Tennyson, who, unfortunately, is not able to be here but wanted us to be represented. It is certainly a subject that he considers to be very important. He is unable to be here because he is unwell rather than…
The Minister will be well aware of the overcrowding in A&Es across Northern Ireland, with increased pressures inside the departments and ambulances regularly stacked up outside departments for up to 12 hours. What work is the Department undertaking to reduce average waiting times across our A&E departments?
Thank you, Principal Deputy Speaker. I support the motion. I thank Mr Kingston and his DUP colleagues for bringing it to the Assembly. I ask all Members to support my party's amendment, which will add one line to the motion to ask that the Assembly: "agrees that the provision of palliative care should be a core Health…
